  • Discuss medical and rehabilitative interventions for patients with poor nutrition, frailty and sarcopenia.

  • Differentiate between aspiration pneumonia and aspiration pneumonitis,
  • Identify risk factors predisposing to pneumonia,
  • Identify diagnostics differences among several common pulmonary diseases
  • More accurately identify patients likely to have been admitted for related pulmonary diseases influenced by dysphagia, from those whose conditions are not likely to be assocaited with dysphagia.
